Charity Bag Distributors
We are looking for people who are willing to help with a series of bag drops which we are carrying out in and around Watford. We need someone to assist our driver both with delivering the bags and also with collecting the bags of donated goods. This needs to be someone who is fit and able to lift.

Complementary Therapy
We are looking for more complementary therapy volunteers who can offer massage, aroma therapy or reflexology. Volunteers need to be ITEC qualified. They also need to have at least 2 years post-qualilfication experience.

Distribution volunteer
We are looking for people who would be willing to distribute and update Hospice literature to public places locally. You would be visiting hospitals, GP surgeries, libraries, leisure centres etc on a monthly basis to take in leaflets and flyers in order to raise awareness of our work in Watford and the surrounding area. It will be possible to claim the costs of your petrol.

Ebay lister
We need people who are familiar with buying and selling on Ebay to list donated goods for sale. You would be based at our Trading Unit on the Croxley Business Park and ideally available on some weekday mornings.

Flower Arranger
We need one or two volunteer flower arrangers who could come in on a Tuesday. You would be joining a small team of ladies who work on a monthly rota to create and maintain the flowers arrangements around the Hospice.

Laundry Assistants
We need someone to come in and help with the laundry. You would be working in our laundry room and washing mainly towels and table linen. There may also be some ironing to do. This role would suit someone who is happy to work on their own. A Tuesday afternoon or a Wednesday morning would be the best times, but other times could work.

We are looking for someone to sit on Reception on a Wednesday evening from early March. You will be greeting visitors and also sometimes doing admin jobs. A friendly approach and basic IT skills are needed for this role.

Our Hospice shops are staffed by a committed team of volunteers, who assist our staff in providing a friendly, welcoming and professional service to customers. We have vacancies at our original Watford Shop (at the bottom of the High Street), Rickmansworth, Borehamwood, Tudor estate as well as our newly opened shop in Potters Bar. Volunteers typically work on an morning or afternoon shift basis, but we are happy to be flexible to fit in with your availability.

We’re seeking people with craft skills to share their talents and expertise with others in our newly-opened Craft Cellar at our large Watford shop. We’re happy to provide the materials if you can provide the ‘know-how’! You could have knitting, crocheting, painting, pottery or a range of other equally interesting skills. We’d love to hear from you if you have a few hours a week to spare.
