| Monday, 04 May 2009 |
If you have ever wanted to do an exhilarating challenge, then look no further.
The Peace Hospice is looking for keen and adventurous volunteers to trek to the summit of the World's tallest free-standing mountain in Kilimanjaro.
If that's not enough to tempt you, participants who raise enough money in sponsorship for the Hospice, will get an opportunity to take part in the trip for free!
Keen adventurers are promised 'an opportunity of a life time', to immerse in the tranquillity of the jungle, see spectacular wildlife, explore breathtaking glaciers and experience something others will only ever dream of.
The Hospice's Corporate Development Manager, Maggie Grand said 'This is a very special trip and I'm confident that it will attract a lot of interest. It's a great opportunity to experience somewhere very special whilst also raising a lot of money for a good local cause'.
For those Hospice supporters who would like to enjoy a big adventure and have the desire to do something challenging for a great cause call Maggie Grand on 01923 335348.
Organised Treks will take place in 2010: Friday 17th September - Sunday 26th September and Friday 15th October - Sunday 24th October. |
