Over 1,000 visitors are expected to attend the annual Hunton Park Garden Party on Sunday 17th May in aid of the Peace Hospice.  The family focused event takes place at the prestigious Hunton Park De Vere venue, with the fun starting at 1pm.

Children’s rides, side shows, dance demonstrations, face painting, children's story telling and cake and plant stalls are just a few of the many activities taking place during the afternoon.  There will also be a live musical treat with local jazz band Ain’t Misbehavin’, Watford Accordion School and the Borehamwood Brass Band performing.

There will also be a refreshments available with a number of food stalls and a beer and pimms tent. Visitors to the garden party can also enjoy wandering in the huge grounds at Hunton Park and will get an opportunity to try croquet and putting, and also take part in balloon racing.

Speaking about the event, the Hospice's Community Fundraising Manager, Gill Crowson said 'This really is a great afternoon out for the whole family.  The venue is spectacular and the entertainment, refreshments and stallholders will keep visitors busy all afternoon.  It's a great way for the community to show their support to the Hospice by attending this event'.
