Local Watford FC boss Aidy Boothroyd, visited the Peace Hospice last week and conducted its Summer Draw.
The Hospice's Lottery Manager, and Summer Draw co-ordinator, Terence Smith said "I was delighted that Aidy took time out of his schedule to carry out the draw for us. It has been particulary encouraging that we raised so much money from the draw this year. I would like to thank all those people who bought tickets and the local businesses who donated some fantastic prizes.
The top prize winners were Mr & Mrs Martinoes who won £1000 of Marks and Spencer vouchers, Mr B Soffair from Radlett who won a Spa Day at the Grove Hotel and Mr Sleeper from Watford who won a camera donated by Kodak Ltd.
