Patients and their families attending The Peace Hospice have benefited from the introduction of wi-fi facilities across its Inpatient and Outpatient Units.
These new facilities mean that patients and their visitors will be able to use the internet, free of charge when attending the Hospice.
The Hospice’s Support Services Manager Gary Nicholls said ‘This is a further step forward in our overriding aim of delivering outstanding service to our patients and their families.
The Hospice prides itself on delivering excellent facilities and I’m sure that this will be beneficial to visitors to our Hospice for years to come’. The Hospice’s Inpatient Unit Ward Manager, Deborah Sumner said ‘This is great news for our patients and their families. It can sometimes be a lonely experience when you’re away from your own home.Being able to connect to the internet from a patient’s room will mean that our patients and their visitors can now stay in touch with the latest news and emails. |
