Tribute Funds
For anyone who has lost a member of their family or a close friend, memories are incredibly important. One way you can remember a loved one is by creating a Tribute Fund in their memory. A Tribute Fund is a special way of ensuring that the memory of a loved one lives on.
Named in honour of the person being remembered, you can invite friends, family and colleagues to contribute and watch the fund grow. Every gift acts as a tribute to the special person in whose name the fund has been created, while giving important financial support to our work.
How to create a Tribute Fund
Your unique Tribute Fund is free to set up and is a wonderful way to keep memories alive. It’s quick and easy to do and you can amend and add to it at any time. Any money you’ve already raised for the Peace Hospice can be added to your fund.
Please choose one of the two options shown on the right.
How to grow the Tribute Fund
• Many people donate to mark birthdays, anniversaries or religious festivals – special times for both the contributor and the person who is no longer with us
• Relatives, friends and past colleagues may also like to donate an affordable monthly gift to grow the fund over time
• Other ways to help your Tribute Fund grow could be from contributors gaining sponsorship for a sporting event, by organising a fundraising event (our fundraising team can offer ideas)
• Or by simply collecting donations from friends and relatives.
How the Funds will be used
The Funds raised will be used to provide free care and support to those that need us across South West Hertfordshire. In order to run and develop our services the Hospice needs to raise £3 million in charitable income each year.
