Two patients share their feelings on the Hospice:

Peace Hospice Care“What can I say about the Hospice? I've been coming for two years and it's given me so much. When I first came I couldn't eat or walk properly and had very low self esteem. The Hospice staff and volunteers gave me so much. I cannot, and never will be able to thank them. There aren't enough words in the dictionary that would suffice. I discovered glass painting, something I had never done or considered. The Hospice gave me back my confidence and my feeling of worth. I belong to a wonderful family – the Thursday family. The meaning to me of this Hospice is there is such hope, love and respect. ” Yolanda

“I first came to the Peace Hospice against my will as I thought it was another hospital. My family talked me into it and I am eternally grateful they did. The kindness and help I have received has given me a new outlook on life. All the staff and helpers are so considerate and never fail to cheer me up. Also I have met many new friends. I get the care of a doctor and nurses, which is of great help. I hope to continue to come and enjoy the Hospice for as long as possible." Sidney
